BillMyTime is a consulting operations platform for tracking time, managing clients and projects, preparing invoice-ready records, and generating invoice PDFs. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how you can contact us about privacy.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you use the service, including:
- Account details such as your name, email address, authentication provider, role, and login status.

- Client, contact, project, material, and time entry records that you create in the app.

How We Use Information
We use this information to operate and improve BillMyTime, including to:
- Authenticate users and protect accounts.
- Provide time tracking, project, client, dashboard, setup wizard, invoice generation, and PDF download features.
- Support invoice email delivery, status tracking, and billing workflows.
- Maintain audit logs, detect abuse, block or quarantine suspicious signups, and troubleshoot service issues.
- Support mobile and web app access to the same workspace data.
Demo Accounts
Demo sessions use generated sample data and are designed to reset regularly. Do not enter personal, confidential, or customer production data into the demo workspace.
Cookies and Sessions
BillMyTime uses cookies and session data to keep you signed in, remember language and workspace context, support demo sessions, and protect authenticated pages and API routes. The mobile API currently relies on authenticated session behavior for supported routes.
Service Providers
We may use trusted infrastructure and service providers to host the app, store the database, route traffic, authenticate users, and send invoice or verification email. These providers process information only as needed to deliver the service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the security of the service, to prevent abuse, or as necessary to provide features you request, such as sending an invoice email to your selected billing recipients.
Data Retention
We keep account, workspace, invoice, audit, and security records for as long as needed to provide the service, support business records, comply with legal obligations, and protect the platform. You may ask us about access, correction, or deletion of your information.
Security
We use technical and administrative safeguards such as authenticated sessions, scoped workspace access, email verification, audit logging, and security moderation rules. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect the data entrusted to BillMyTime.
Your Choices
You can update much of your company, profile, client, project, and invoice data directly in the app. For account privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests, contact us.
